Topics will include how to recognize child abuse and neglect and responsibilities to report it. Under Indiana law, any individual who has reason to believe that a child is a victim of child abuse or neglect must make a report.        On Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, some of the IndyWIN Committee Members took donations of toiletries, towels and toys to the Wheeler Mission Facility for Women and Children.  We were provided with information on what they do to help the women and children in need, the plans for expansion, the history of the facility and a tour of the faciltiy.

IndyWIN Committee Members attended the Moms and Students Demand Action 
for Gun Sense Rally to call upon our US Senate to bring 
universal background checks and Federal Red Flags Law 
up for a vote in the Senate.



IndyWIN Committee Members attended the National Urban League Conference

held in Indianapolis, In from July 24 - 27

   IndyWIN members join President Chrystal Ratcliffe and several other NAACP branch members at the luncheon for Equal Opportunity Day given by the Indianapolis Urban League, on June 11, 2019.

IndyWIN Comm. sponsored a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar at the College Avenue Branch Library.

 IndyWin members celebrate Juneteenth by registering voters at Scott United Methodist Church,   2153 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue. 



Women In NAACP (IndyWIN) Committee participated in the NAACP Legislative Day, attended the Women 4 Change Human Trafficking Panel, volunteered at ACT-SO competition, sponsored a Breast Cancer Seminar and assist our branch # 3053 when requested. 
We also particpate in or attend other community organization events to provide our support in their efforts.
